This year’s proceeds will benefit Coats for Kids, South Side Sluggers, Veteran’s Rock and Wyoming Brest Cancer Initiative.

One Last Thing
The Cheyenne Genealogical & Historical Society hosts a Cemetery Walk annually as part of its mission to stimulate and encourage family history research through a variety of endeavors. This year’s walk will take place on Saturday, August 19th at Lakeview Cemetery (2501 Seymour Ave). The living history program “Take These Jobs and Love ‘Em,” will feature a Blacksmith, milliner, butcher, judge, pack-master, suffragette and more – all “occupations” resurrected from Cheyenne’s past – are historical figures you will meet at the walk (most of whom are buried in or near Lakeview Cemetery). The two-hour narrated walking tour will have two start times: 9:15 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. The walk is $10 for adults, while children 12 and under are free.
